Dissolve the salt in previously prepared demineralized water. Water temperature should be about 25°C . For salinity of 35 ppt , dissolve about 370 g / 10 l of water. Stir the solution vigorously for about 15 minutes. Once the salt is fully dissolved and the solution is clear, the saline water is ready to use. Keep the salt in a dry and dark place. Once dissolved,use the salt within 5 days. Evaporation can change water parameters, so keep freshly mixed saltwater in a sealed container if you don’t use it right away. You should check the salinity of your saltwater again before use if you store it for a couple of days
